Gary Brockman
Moon & Star Photography
Gary Brockman began taking photos as a child with a Kodak box camera taking pictures of family, pets, and vacations. As he grew older, he learned shooting with a variety of cameras and darkroom processing. He completed seminars and workshops on photography as well as USAF Still Photography education. During this time, people who saw his work began asking him to do photo assignments for them. He did part-time photography while he spent over 20 years in social services and a junior high/high school teacher. He also taught photography.
He began taking photography assignments and later opened a business with another photographer, B&K Photography. In 1983, he joined forces with a graphic artist operating Moon & Star Graphics partnering to add photography to the business. With the combination of providing pictures that are crisp, colorful, and convey emotions, a strong work ethic, and an easy to work with style, the business continued to grow and now photography is a full time venture.
